Safety comes first. The Lanyard with Safety Clip (also known as a Breakaway Lanyard) is designed to save lives. If the lanyard gets caught in heavy machinery, an elevator door, or is grabbed by an aggressive patient/student, the clip at the back will instantly snap open, releasing the lanyard from the neck and preventing strangulation.
